Book Recommendation's - H

    Lately, I have been drawn to old books, particularly by the author F. Scott Fitzgerald. Last year in school we were told we must read The Great Gatsby, and that is what began my fascination with the Fitzgerald's. I have just finished This Side of Paradise and it was a marvelous novel based upon the life of a boy name Amory and his adventures with love. I'd recommend it to anyone especially someone who loves history as well as sophisticated books. Some parts I would have to reread due to the fact that in the 1920's, writing styles were very different from what they are today and what we are taught but other than that it was a wonderful read. I received a copy of  Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald for Chrsitmas and I cannot wait to devour those pages. Once I found out that Zelda was friends with Coco Chanel, I knew I would instantly love her. I mean, who wouldn't want to read of how fabulous their life was in the 1920's? Although it did have a saddening ending but lately what love story doesn't?
