Oreo Pops
This weekend M and I got together to try a recipe together, and surpriselymit turned out quite successful. I found this one while looking over other blogs that I look at, this particular recipe was featured on the blog Cupcakes and Cashmere and it was called Oreo Pops. I thought this was a nice simple one for us to start on and a fun one to cook as well. Luckily, it was both and didn't cause any stress nor was it messy or destroyed by any pets. We both encourage everyone to try it and comment below.
Enjoy,
Xoxo - H and M

Step 1.) These are all the ingredients needed, it is a fairly cheap desert to make with there only being three actual food items to buy. Some things needed for this to work would be white food sticks and wax paper as well. We got double stuffed Oreos cookies because we both have huge sweet tooths and got vanilla candy melts rather than white chocolate to melt over the pops because we both like the taste vanilla rather than white chocolate taste.

Step 2.) Get a cutting board, or any other large clean surface, and put wax paper over it. Open up each Oreo so one side has all of the filling on it and the other side is completely bank, (if each cookie side has half the filing on it, that is do-able. All you have to do later is move the filling with your fingers and to one side).

Step 4.) Next, we did a double boil method to melt the vanilla chips. There is a way to microwave it but I got nervous that it would burn the melting vanilla. So we put a pan of boiling water on low and then a bowl over the boiling water. The chips went into the bowl and once they started to melt, we stirred it constantly so it would not stick to the edges nor burn.

Step 5.) Next we put the sprinkles into an easy access bowl to we could dunk the pops in later.

Step 6.) Then you take a stick and you put it under the Oreo filling. If it raises while putting the stick in, then you can gently push it down with your fingers.

Step 7.) Next you take a spoon and get a smidge of the melted vanilla and put it on top of the filling, where you put the stick.

Step 8.) Then you put the blank Oreo side onto the side of the cookie where you put the melted vanilla. Press gently so the vanilla can stick to the blank side and let sit for a few minutes.

Step 9.) After a few minutes is done, pick the Oreo pop up by the stick and use a spoon to cover the Oreo with the melted vanilla. Make one side more thicker than the other because only that side will have the sprinkles over it.

Step 10.) Next take the thicker covered side of the Oreo and dunk it into the bowl with the sprinkles.

Step 11.) Place pops on wax paper and let sit 20-30 minutes. Once that time is up you can eat and enjoy! Comment below your thoughts of the recipe.
