At Home Steam Facials - H

       One of my favorite ways to relax and de-stress my hectic life is to give myself a steam facial. The warmth of the steam just relaxes you so much. Sometimes, I add some herbs to the water also. Some of the herbs really help your skin.
-If you have dry skin, (which is basically everyone in the winter time), put some lavender, mint, or calendula. -If you have sensitive skin, you can use calendula also, or chamomile and comfrey.
-If you have oily skin, then use mint, lavender, rose, or witch hazel.
      I normally heat the water in a tea kettle and pour the water into a bowl and place a towel over my head and the bowl. But you need to leave a fairly large opening to breathe during it or else you'll have a hard time breathing and that won't be relaxing yourself much. The goal is to relax your mind. Try concentrating on your breaths as you are giving youself this facial. Enjoy and relax! -H
