My most recent purchases - Part 1: Makeup ~ M

All of the makeup I"m reviewing is being used in this picture.
Just yesterday I went out to CVS and yet again, added to my makeup collection. I'm slightly addicted to buying makeup, so I figured instead of ignoring this addiction, I would review the pieces I added to my growing pile of cosmetics.

Wet and Wild:
I bought two items from Wet and Wild. I tend to find that this brand is quite hit or miss, but the prices are very hard to beat so I always find myself wandering to their displays. The first thing that caught my eye was Fergie's line for Wet and Wild, sadly most of it was sold out in this particular store, but I did find a brown eyeliner. This is a color I've had a hard time spending money on, because I'm more of a fan of black eyeliner and was worried that I wouldn't use it, but for two dollars I felt slightly pressured by that little devil sitting on my shoulder to buy it. The color I ended up with is called Black Brown (692A) but I find that it looks very light, maybe more of a medium brown, nevertheless I'm actually very happy with this color. The liner glides on smoothly and even has a cute little eraser on the opposite end of the tube.
The second item I bought was a blusher in the color Pearlescent Pink (831E). It's a sort of dusty rose pink mixed with a slight coral. It's a very pigmented blush considering how inexpensive it was, and I will definitely have to remind myself of that the next time I put it on (in the picture above I have much more on than I'd usually wear, but I figured that would be a good example of just how pigmented it is).

Revlon:
My most recent purchase from Revlon was the Photoready BB Cream. I had been wanting a BB cream for the summer and I was very happy with the texture and coverage of my Revlon Photoready foundation and I feel the same way about this product. The thing I love most about the BB cream is that it has SPF 30, and since I have very fair skin this has already protected my face from a sunburn on more than one occasion.

Maybelline:
Maybelline is one of my favorite drugstore brands of makeup, I use the FIT me! bronzer almost daily and I've already been through a few bottles of the Falsies Volum' Express Mascara in Black Drama. I've also just recently become a big fan of the Color Whispers, now when I say big fan I must admit I only have one but I'm obsessed with it. The color is Go Nude (05) and it is amazing, it's not overly pigmented and it's very moisturizing, what more could you ask for in a colored balm type of lipstick?
Now for the FIT Me! concealer, it's a lighter coverage but it blends very well and doesn't dry out. It's not the best concealer in the world, but it's what I expected for the price.
Last but not least, the Mega Plush Volum' Express mascara. I had decided that I wanted to buy a new mascara although I still have a tube of the Falsies to go through. I found that Falsies was starting to clump up, which I was very disappointed in since I've had such good luck with it in the past. Without researching it at all I bought the Mega Plush and I'm actually very pleased with it. It definitely elongated my lashes and they look slightly fuller.
