Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour Are Revealed
(And Roberto Cavalli Did Not Disappoint!)
Of course all of the designs show skin, but when you have a body like Miley Cyrus, you would want to show off as much as acceptably possible. Although no one shall ever forget the chicken butt comparison.. There is also tons of glitter but not something we are used to from Mr. Cavalli. Jeremy Scott and The Blonds' will also be creating some of Cyrus' outfits and let us hope they will be as good as they are being hyper up to me.

Karlie Kloss Too Famous For Fashion Week?
In Other News, Everyone Is Jealous Of Her Success?
(Kloss walking the runway for the Atelier Versace for Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014) |
Fashion week is coming up close in a wonderful way. Beautiful and impossibly tall models are lining the streets of New York going to casting and Kloss among them, is not attending these go-see's. The model, who has reached supermodel status, can only be booked by "special arrangement". Kloss was not on the runways during Fall 2012 and took a break from cat walking. She did admit to Vanity Fair during an interview that some designers claim "she's too famous to walk on their runways" and "no one will pay attention to the clothes". Fortunately, Kloss does have shows she seems to walk in season after season including Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and Jason Wu. You will still be the apple of our eye K.
New York's Latest State Law To Change
New York Fashion Week
Model Alliance Changes Fashion Week Forever
Coco Rocha is a well know member of the Model Alliance and according tho New York state laws, any model underage is now considered the same status as child performers. They have changed history and this years New York Fashion Week will be the first time the law has been put into effect. This law means that any model under 18 needs to have a work permit and a trust fund under their name. The designers need to have a certificate of eligibility to let these underage models to walk their runway, or in the words of the law, perform. If there is an violation of this law, there are fines of $1,000 for first offense, $2,000 for the second, $3,000 for the third and everyone after. Who knew modeling could require so many verification to remain legal? Or maybe they caught onto all of the illegal action going on. One can only wonder.
