Designers Will Not Lend MC Clothing For Magazine Photo Shoots
Is there a magazine that Miley Cyrus hasn't been on in the past year? She's been gracing us with everlasting appearance but apparently, designers don't feel the same about her as I, or her other smilers, do. Cyrus was styled by Katie Grand for her Love photo shoot where Grand found it hard to style the star. "At first I wasn't sure about Miley. A lot of people aren't. It was tricky to borrow clothes for the shoot because she seems to divide opinion in a Marmite-esque way," wrote Grand in her introduction to the cover story. Many designers have been trying to work with her including Roberto Cavalli, Donatella Versace, and Marc Jacobs, the latter who recommended Grand for the cover. Either way, what little clothing she does where seems to be controversial as well as a style bloggers dream. (Source: Fashionista)
You Can Thank David Beckham For Sleeve Garters Being Brought In Style Again
(Take Some Hints, Boys)
This 19th Century trend is making a wonderful comeback due to this sexy male having some trendsetting within him. Not only is it new and refreshing, but possibly even made to show off some well developed bicep muscles? This is a trend I'd like to see more men wearing. I wonder how men follow David Beckham as their inspiration?
How Much Does It Actually Cost To Have Your Line Strutted Down The NYC Catwalk?
(Which Could Potentially Leave You Bankrupt If Your Line Isn't a Hit)
The actual cost all really depends seeing no one really knows the actually price. However, it can be broken down. To purchase a venue can range from $15,000 up to a whooping $60,000. The sixty grand is how much it costs to have a show at the Theater at The Lincoln Center, which is it's largest venue. You can spend $15,000 on purchasing The Hub and $47,500 for The Stage. To purchase a top stylist can leave you spending $8,000 a day, production is around $10,000-$20,000. Sometimes that price is included in the PR. A PR can range from $5,000- $15,000. Hair and make-up can cost the same amount as a PR range. Models have a broader range depending on how the company works. Some models can go for $150 a day, where some designers will pay $200-$500 a day and international mass brands might pay as much as $800-$1,000 a day. Streaming your show costs around $12,000 and this leaves your subtotal to be around $200,000. Happy spending, lovies.
