A Week Off in Review - H

Recently, I had my first week off in years it felt like. It was so relaxing and I feel like I was able to accomplish so much. It started off with M and I traveling to visit family in Connecticut. From there, we drove to New York City and spent the day shopping. At the end of the night, we drove back to Connecticut and spent the night. The following Monday, we drove to the beach and spent a day laying in the sun and talking about the future of this blog. The ocean water was way too frigid to do anything but listen to the wonderful sound of the waves. We played some older Beyoncè songs, reflecting on which ones used to be our favorites. We got Panera salads beforehand to eat for lunch, although we really wished we brought chips or something to munch on. This shows how hard we're trying to eat healthier!! Thursday was my birthday, and my best friend Jenna and I went to breakfast at Panera of course, and then we shopped around Marshall's. Unfornately, I have to return to reality tomorrow and go back to work. I loved this week off but I'm happy to go back into my hectic schedule, it's in a way comforting to always be doing something.

The breakfast table at our relatives house. It was truly a perfect way to start a day, sharing stories between one another and eating a home cooked breakfast in the morning sun.

My outfit to travel back home, I've been leaning to more simple pieces of clothing with little pops here and there. And it was a couple of hours of driving home, so obviously I'd like to be comfortable.

The salad I got for the beach along with a Vans hat that was purchased for me in NYC.

Breakfast at Panera with Jenna, (we share birthdays!!), and of course we had to take selfies in the gigantic mirrors at Marshall's.

The sundae my Nana and sister made for my birthday.

The outfit I wore that night, I'm obviously obsessed with this sweater from Zara that I wore it twice in one week.

The fabulous birthday present my Nana and Pa gave me for my birthday. I'm very thankful for it and I'm actually quite obsessed.
